The Hub is a place for high school students: That exists to bring all high school students from various schools (public, private, charter, home) and various backgrounds together in order to launch them out into the world.

We believe that there are certain things that need to happen in order for this to effectively happen.

First, we believe that there are certain things that need to come together for high school students so they can experience true wholeness. We call these integrators: Grace & Truth, Head & Heart, Maturity & Multiplication, Faith & Reason, God & People, and much more… Once these things come together, true growth and development happen, ushering in wholeness for the student. The Hub is that place for these integrators to come together.

Moreover, as these integrators bring high school students together in wholeness, they begin to experience inside-out transformation. God produces this transformation in the student by using a nutrient-rich environment built on His Word to do so. At The Hub, we take God’s Word seriously and find practical ways to apply its truth to our everyday lives.

Finally, The Hub helps students launch out into their world so they can give their lives away to something bigger than themselves. We do this by giving them the right tools to effectively communicate their faith, understand the world they live, and challenge them to discern God’s will and call upon their lives, as they navigate next steps—college, career, vocation, ministry, family.

METRO 68 is a fun, lively, energetic, and down-to-earth Jr. High student ministry here at NorthPark Community Church, designed with one goal in mind: KEEPING STUDENTS “ON TRACK”.

On track with what? On track with God, with Jesus, and with The Holy Spirit. We want to keep them on track with their faith, by teaching them to rely solely on a strong relationship with Jesus Christ—with obeying and following Him as their top priority.

We want to keep our Jr. High students on track by leading them in passionately pursuing God’s PURPOSE for lives—with the Bible always being the ultimate authority in their life. We want to develop true players for Team Jesus that will strive to give God everything they have each day!

These youngsters, in the coming years, will eventually have to make many tough decision in life. We want to keep them on track with Jesus, and make sure that He is NEVER left out of the process!

Come catch a ride on the Metro 5 Sunday mornings at 9:00am in the Student Center.

Metro 5 is an exciting ministry for fifth-grade students that helps to move them through the big transition from elementary school to middle school.

At Metro 5, we help fifth-grade students get from point A to point B in their Christian walk by introducing them to the basics of the Bible: God’s intricate, yet fascinating, narrative of his relentless pursuit of us, his people. We help students understand core stories and characters of the Bible and how they fit into God’s larger story of who He is and how he wants to interact with his people.

We use a creative approach in our teaching by using lots of creative drama and dialogue. We believe God’s Word is exciting; likewise our teaching and handling of His Word should be just as exciting! At Metro 5, students will find a lot of enthusiasm, energy, and excitement.

We use multiple teaching teams, all with their own unique personalities; yet, we are unified in our approach in how we teach. Teams consist of both adult and high school student leaders. Games are played and prizes won as we enjoy learning about our great God.
