Foundational Purpose

✦   To help our children discover and embrace a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

✦   Leading, building, and encouraging a team of leadersbased on the use and development of their spiritual gifts that will provoke children to grow in Christ.

Leading our children in the 3 Core Truths:

1.     “I can trust God no matter what.”

How? By showing them the bible is the source of wisdom and truth.

2.     “I need to make the wise choice.”

How? By applying what they learn to their daily lives.

3.     “I should treat others the way I want to be treated.”

How? By showing them during the small group experience how to develop relationships that matter.

Sunday Mornings

First Street - Nursery - Pre-k

For many children this will be their introduction to God and the amazing things He has done. We utilize Orange Curriculum's "First Look" to teach Bible stories from the Old and New Testaments. Our focus is "God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever." It is a very active hour with something for every learning style. Snacks, crafts, coloring, and games are some of the activities used during this hour.

Kid's Park - Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Sunday school mornings are an exciting, interactive way of teaching the Bible and how the stories in the Bible apply to their lives today. The children start the morning in worship with their parents and then are dismissed to join up with their small group leaders by grades.  They then move to a large group environment where the bible story comes to life. After their large group experience, they join back up with their small groups to unpack what they have learned. We utilize Orange's 252 curriculum to connect with our kids so that they too can go and make a difference. We use Jesus' model in Luke 2:52: "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man."
