Carl Dever

Carl serves as a pastor/elder at NorthPark after serving as a deacon and member of this body for over 18 years.  He is blessed by his wife Julie and their four children: Andrew, Rachel, Amy and Sarah. With an aerospace engineering degree from The Ohio State University, Carl is an engineering executive for a large aerospace company. In his bits of free time, Carl enjoys movies, family traveling, music, camping, playing and watching sports (especially the Buckeyes!).

Bob Lininger
Bob Lininger

Bob serves as a pastor/elder at NorthPark after serving in the Fire Department for many years before becoming a Pastor/Elder at NorthPark. He currently leads our Care Ministry. Pastor Bob, and his wife Margaret, are beloved at NorthPark for the wisdom and much valued perspective they bring. Jim Foote
Jim Foote

Jim serves as a pastor/elder at NorthPark, and his wife Janette have lived in Santa Clarita since 1992 when they moved their family from Northern California. They have attended NorthPark since 1992. Jim has been active in leading a Sunday morning class and weekly Small Group. Jim holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management and is currently Advanced faculty for the University of Phoenix in the School of Business.  He is a Vietnam Army Veteran, a flight instructor, and an avid backpacker who is always looking for a new trail.

Scott Jette
Scott Jette

Scott serves as a pastor/elder at NorthPark. After high school, Scott joined the Marines and rose to the rank of Sergeant. After his service, Scott transitioned to corporate America where he worked in Research and Design for both LA Gear and K-Swiss. After a decade of expense reports and boardroom meetings, he accepted an invitation to join his church staff in Hollywood where he served as Administrative Pastor for ten years. In 2008, he started a company to help churches and businesses better manage their finances and human resources. In 2012, NorthPark became one of his clients. Scott so enjoyed working with the people of NorthPark that he could not refuse when they asked him to take on the role of Operations Pastor in 2015.

Robert Cavin
Robert Cavin

Robert is Lead Pastor and an elder. He's responsible for preaching and ministry oversight. He came to NorthPark in 2015 after serving as Senior Pastor on the East Coast. Before that Robert served on staff at Emmanuel Faith Community Church in Escondido, CA for seven years in Adult ministries. Robert started in ministry at Birdville Baptist Church in Forth Worth, TX serving as College and Singles Pastor. Robert earned his B.A. from Baylor University, M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin, M.A. Talbot Theological Seminary (Biola), and Ph.D. Theology and Religion from Durham University in Durham, England. His doctoral thesis was published in 2013 by Walter De Gruyer titled New Existence and Righteous Living: Colossians and 1 Peter in Conversation with 4QInstruction and the Hodayot. Robert also contributed to Following Jesus Christ: The New Testament Message of Discipleship for Today, Chapter 15 "Suffer, Strive, and Stand for Holiness: Discipleship in 1–2 Peter and Jude." Robert is married to Laurie and has two children.

Stephen Petree

Stephen Petree is our talented, Grammy nominated, Worship Leader. Singer, song writer, and accomplished guitar player, Stephen provides leadership to an incredible group of musicians who give of their talents to serve God. Stephen’s passion is connecting the generations together through music to worship Jesus!

CHILDREN’S DIRECTOR

Tommy Snider

Tommy brings years of experience in Kid’s Ministry at SoCal churches. He started the Frizzling’s Fun House series on YouTube during the pandemic to reach isolated kids with fun, biblical messages. His acting in children’s shows on Nickelodeon has given Tommy a wealth of experiences to reach children with the gospel in fun and creative ways!

PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR

Elizabeth Von Busch

Elizabeth is the director of Noah's Park Preschool. She has been a teacher there for 13 years. Elizabeth has always had a passion for working with children. She took a break from the profession while raising her own young children. She joined the Noah’s Park team after the wonderful experience her family had attending Noah’s Park. She loves being able to foster a love of learning and love of Christ in the hearts of the children at Noah’s Park.

Kay Slocum

Kay has been on staff since 2007, initially as an administrative assistant and currently as the office manager.  She and her husband, Bob, have been members of NorthPark since 1997.  They have three children and two grandchildren.  She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, reading, walking their dogs with her husband, and cheering on the Dodgers.  Her “happy” place is the beach.
